Do Hair Roots Grow Back?
By Tiesha Whatley
Overview
There are several reasons why hair can fall out at the root; improper diet, vitamin deficiency, stress, lack of exercise, side effects to medications or health reasons. The good news is that the hair can grow back even if the roots have come out. The most important thing to do is diagnose the reason that your hair is shedding. Once you have figured that out, take steps to correct the problem.
Diet
A diet of mostly processed foods high in sugar and fat is hard for the body to process; this can cause the hair to fall out. Eat a well-balanced diet of green vegetables and healthy proteins to combat the hair loss.
Vitamins
Vitamins are needed to grow healthy hair. Add vitamin B Complex, Iron, Folic Acid, vitamin E and vitamin A to correct hair loss due to vitamin deficiency.
Stress
Stress causes hair loss because of the strain it puts on blood circulation and blood pressure. Try relaxation and deep-breathing techniques to de-stress your body.
Exercise
Exercise is great for getting in shape and lubricating parts of the body. Increasing the metabolism is a great way to jump-start hair growth.
Medications and Health Reasons
Women generally shed some hair after childbirth; this is normal and will correct itself. Hair loss due to medications and other health problems should be talked about with your doctor; they can suggest something that may help.
